The Lunar New Year, the most celebrated festival in the Orient, also known as the Chinese New Year or the Spring Festival. It resembles in many ways with the biblical feasts. It is most similar to the Jewish Passover.
The original message of God’s deliverance got deviated and disguised in the East through the years. The present day Chinese don’t see God in all these activities anymore. Thank God for the Bible, so we can be illuminated about the spiritual meanings of these ancient customs. As we celebrate the Chinese New Year this week, we can be hopeful of joining our grand passover feast in heaven soon.
